Membership in a prestigious EBRD Blue Ribbon programme
Casa del Mare officially joined the Blue Ribbon programme, which entails business consulting and access to finance provided by the the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the next five years.
The EBRD's Blue Ribbon programme provides operational, management and financial consulting to small and medium-sized enterprises that show great potential for growth, upon EBRD’s invitation. The five-year membership in this program will give us the opportunity to have and use the best local and international advisors, who will be at our disposal in terms of knowledge and expertise thus ensuring further growth and development of our company.
"We recognized Casa del Mare hotel group as a reliable partner to the Blue Ribbon programme, which not only offers the best consulting in areas crucial for further business development, but also the opportunity to network with similar companies in over 36 countries across three continents where EBRD carries out its mission" said Mr. Remon Zakaria, head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development office in Montenegro.
"This milestone builds on our existing cooperation with the company over the past ten years through advisory services provided as part of our Advice for Small Business programme in the area of hospitality. The EBRD has transformed the performance of thousands of small businesses and laid the foundations for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth that we aim at replicating with our cooperation with Casa del Mare," said Zakaria.
We are deeply honored and pleased that the EBRD will continue to support, and provide knowledge and experience to us. The fact that we are part of this programme is a guarantee of our further unquestionable growth, but also a confirmation that we have been doing the right thing as a company and brand. The following five years are really crucial for us - this year we are opening the new Casa del Mare Mangata hotel on the Budva Riviera, as well as a new restaurant and beach bar concept to our already existing Bocasa Beach & Restaurant.
Next year, we are opening Hotel Wulfenia, our first hospitality experience in the north of Montenegro whereas in the coming period, we expect to expand regionally. The fact that the EBRD is at our disposal for the next five years, being practically an integral part of our company, and whose experts truly will be a part of our team, is an incentive not only for us, but also for our investors. The EBRD not only helps us ensure quality, but also provides that special touch that makes every project successful. In that sense, we are profoundly thankful to everyone who made Casa del Mare part of this programme while at the same time doing our best to justify the trust given to us.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has been present in Montenegro since 2006 and has supported 81 projects with a total investment value of 724 million euros. In Montenegro, the EBRD focuses on increasing the competitiveness of the private sector, supporting sustainable practices, improving connectivity and regional integration, and promoting energy security and efficiency at the regional level.
The Casa del Mare hotel group is the winner of numerous national and regional awards for brand and service excellence. The hotel group currently has five small hotels throughout Boka Kotorska, and two unique restaurant concepts - Bocasa Beach & Restaurant and Casa Epico, which will be joined this summer by the new hotel Casa del Mare Mangata and Limoneto Beach and Restaurant.
